Condition lips with a lip moisturizer.  

This hydrates your lips and prevents fading.  Be sure to apply treatment to your entire lip.

Line your lips with a dark colored lip liner.  

Outline first and then fill in both the top and bottom of your lips for a good base.

Apply your favorite red lipstick.
